Happy 13th Birthday Isaac!

Wow, I can't believe you are thirteen already! It just seems like yesterday we were at the hospital meeting you for the first time. It has been great watching you grow up these last 13 years. You always know how to make us smile. You are a great brother and have a servants heart thank you for always being willing to help out where ever you are needed. I am excited about how God will work in you. We love you! Happy Birthday!

Meet Our Newest Family Member

We have a new member to the family. After searching for about 6 weeks and looking at multiple shelters and rescue groups we finally brought home a dog. He is a one year old, Chihuahua/JRT
mix.

10/22 After having the dog for a little while and going to the vet. and doing some research we are pretty sure he is an Italian Greyhound/Rat Terrier mix.

McCain, Palin Rally

We went to a campaign rally for Republican Presidential Nominee John McCain and Sarah Palin. We were on the freeway at 730am and arrived at the convention center to find the parking lot full. God is good and answered our prayers for a parking space only a couple of blocks away. We had to wait in a line that wrapped along the side of the convention center but the staff did a great job in keeping us moving.

Thankfully I have a great friend who is always prepared. She brought cards for the kids, it was a great way to pass the time.

Congressman Randy Forbes
The small lady in white is Sarah Palin. To her left in the red turtleneck is Cindy McCain.

Republican Presidential Nominee John McCain
We had a great time with friends and making a memory for the kids (hopefully a good one). I still remember when my mom pulled my sister and I out of school to see President Ronald Reagan during his 1984 campaign. Maybe that is why I love teaching history and government so much:)

Election 2008

For History we are learning about the U.S. Government and the Election process. We are taking part in the campaign of Congressman Forbes by working at the headquarters once a week, and have even walked our neighborhood passing out fliers. Since our city will not let us put a large sign on our fence we put up a bunch of little signs:)

Before History Class we went out and walked our neighborhood passing out fliers.
