Christmas at the Nursing Home

Isaac, Hannah and their friends went to a local nursing home to play Christmas music.  The residents really seemed to enjoy the violins, irish dancing and cards that the kids handed out when they finished playing.

Violin Lessons

Hannah has been playing violin for 4 years now and is on the last song of her Suzuki book 3. Her teacher Coleman is such a great teacher who challenges her to do her best.

Hannah played in her 4th Feis  this year.  She played "Butterfly" and "Blue Morning Jig"She tied for 4th place. Way to go Hannah!

Hunt Camp: Music Blast

Once again Isaac and Hannah saved their money so they could go to Hunt Camp.

They had a blast at the Hunts learning music, dance, team competitions and of course there was lots of practicing going on. Hannah made the 1000 club twice this year. Isaac claims he had a life full of basketball and mowing jobs so he only made the 1000 club once.  The kids get one point for every time they play or sing a song (Hannah could also earn one point for dancing). Each song could only be practiced 100 times!  On Friday they head down to the local library and preform a concert on material they just started learning on Monday! It was an amazing time packed full of memories, new friends and old friends. I'm so thankful to the Hunt Family for all of their hard work and dedication!

Music Blast 09

Isaac and Hannah just finished Music Blast 09. Music Blast is an amazing camp put on by The Hunt Family. Isaac and Hannah had so much fun, learned a lot of new music in just one week, and made many new friends. Each day after camp they would come home and practice ALL night long. Isaac even woke up at 430am one day to try and get more points for his team. (Which won the week long competition, GO BLUE!) Thank you so much Hunts for making this week so much fun and a week that Isaac and Hannah will always remember. We love you guys!
