St. Patrick's Day

Monday we went to an assisted living center to start off St. Patrick's Day a little early. They played several Irish and fiddle songs for the residents and Steph and Madison danced in full costume. The residents really seemed to enjoy the dancing and the music. Thanks, Hunts, Waskos, Isaac and Hannah for being willing to serve the residents and bring some joy into their day!

Rain, Rain go away....

This weekend was pretty crazy and fun considering it rained all day Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Friday: Our friends came from out of town to attend 316 midnight skate. We went ice skating from 11pm to 1 am, I guess I should say the kids skated, we watched and froze:) (No pics because I forgot to put my battery back in the camera after charging:( ) They spent the night and headed off early in the morning.

Saturday: After only 3 hours of sleep I woke up and headed off to a Mom's breakfast at church. When I came home I took a much needed nap and woke up to the kids playing Monopoly. They were having a good time laughing and talking. Isaac was very gracious by letting Hannah have double the amount when she passed GO and claim hotels on her property when there were no more hotels to buy. (He still slaughtered her.) It made my heart warm to watch them.






Sunday: Our volleyball team went 6-0!

Now if only the sun would come out:)
